Do you remember the days when liking someone was just enough?  For some, it didn't matter how they treated you, what kind of attention the gave or didn't give to you, whether or not they had goals, who their friends were, how they got along with their family, if they were reliable, responsible, and whether or not they would make a good father... or mother. When I was in high school, I chose the boys who were cute because they gave me "butterflies"; up into my mid-twenty's I chose the guys who had a nice face, muscular body, and who knew how to have fun because they gave me excitement...and you know what that got me? I remember once there was this guy I dated and I have to be honest…he was an attractive guy and fun to hangout with, but I automatically knew I could never see myself with him in my future.   Now I look back and ask myself why? I mean, how could that be if I never gave him a chance?   Truth be told, I didn’t want to give him a chance, but only because I knew in my heart it could never be.   Is that something a person automatically knows?   It must be…could it be that –that was one of Gods gifts he gave to us?   An unknown, somewhat psychic ability to determine if someone is right for us, whether we know them or not? I was looking through book reviews on Amazon in hopes to find a book that would help me with making a decision about something I am confused about.
